There were announced results of the competition on concept and location of Museum of blockade and defense of Leningrad.
On December 29, 2014 in Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering there took place the ceremony of awards of winners of the contest on concept and location of Museum of blockade and defense of Leningrad. The ceremony of awards took place on the balustrade of SPSUACE where representatives of the judging boards, administration of the university and participants gathered.
Winners and participants of the competition were welcome by greeting speech of chairperson of the Committee on science and higher school of Saint Petersburg Andrey S. Maksimov and rector of SPSUACE Evgeny I. Rybnov.
The judges selected three best projects. The best project was unanimously considered the one presented by Anastasia Ivanova (fourth-year student of the faculty of architecture of SPSUACE) “900 days to lights”. The second prize was given to Ksenia Vinogradova (alumni of the faculty of architecture of SPSUACE) and Maria Vinogradova (senior student of the faculty of architecture) “90 steps = 900 days of blockade”. Olga Zemskaya and Aleksanders Skitskis fourth-year students of the faculty of architecture) took the third prize with their project “4 years of blockaded life”.
Competition laureates received letters of thanks of vice-governors of Saint Petersburg, certificates of the Committee on science and higher school of Saint Petersburg Government and participant diplomas of the competition and money rewards of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.
For the help in organization of the competition in the university rector of SPSUACE E.I. Rybnov received a letter of thanks signed by the two vice-governors of Saint Petersburg: V.V. Kirikkov and M.M. Oganesian.
Letters of thanks of the Committee on science and higher school of Saint Petersburg were handed to dean of the faculty of architecture S.V. Sementsov, head of the chair of architectural design F.V. Perov, associate professor of the chair of architectural design V.K. Linov amd PhD in architecture associate professor E.R. Vozniak.
