Official visit of delegations of architectural and construction institutes of the Republic of Uzbekistan to SPSUACE

On June 8, 2018 Delegations of two architectural and construction institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute (TASI) and Samarkand State Architectural and Construction Institute (SamGASI) visited Saint-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The delegations were headed by the Rectors of the universities R.R. Khakimov (TASI) and S.I. Akhmedov (SAMASI).

During the tripartite meeting the Rector of SPSUACE E.I. Rybnov, the first Vice Rector I.R. Lugovskaya, the heads of departments and deans of the faculties of one of the oldest technical universities of Russia spoke about the organization of the educational process and the structure of the university, answered a lot of questions. Particular interest of the guests was caused by the organization of the work of the selection committee, the mechanism and the formation of quotas for the admission of students and graduate students, the implementation of research activities, the experience of the university departments. "We are interested in the exchange of students, teachers, internships," - the Rector of SPSUACE E.I. Rybnov said. "We are close with Russia all the time. We cannot imagine our development without it." – foreign guests said in their speeches.

The program of the visit included the attendance of the Scientific and Technical Library, the Museum of History, the Museum of St. Petersburg Brick, laboratories, the faculty of Architecture of SPSUACE. At the meeting with the head of the department of architectural and town planning heritage, S. V. Sementsov, the possibility of organizing student exchange for training and familiarization practice was discussed.

During the visit, the Cooperation Agreement was signed between SPSUACE and SamGASI.
