SPbGASU Waterfront Participant

On October 5, 2018 a lecture “Urban Design Workshop” as part of urban forum Waterfront took place in SPBGASU. Saint-Petersburg Administration, Nordic Countries Consulates General, Institutes of Arts together with Street Art Institute organized the forum due to “Nordic Week in Saint-Petersburg”.

Danish architects Charlotte Karstensen and Julie Defoe from “All About A” architect office told about the reasons and methods of urban design study. Then the students modelled architecture objects for Saint-Petersburg embankments. The event was held in creative and friendly atmosphere.

The issue of city embankments use and waterfront change into comfortable public and cultural spaces was the focus of the forum. It became great contribution into development and improvement of Sait-Petersburg coastal territories.
