Students of the architectural faculty of SPSUACE are mastering BIM-technologies

Students of the architectural faculty of SPSUACE have spent summer 2017 advantageously: they have had a computer practice with experts in BIM-technologies, working in advanced organizations of St.-Petersburg.

Teachers of chair of applied mathematics and computer science SPSUACE Т. G.Kapitonov , M.A.Milyutin, K.A.Shumilov and M.F.Yakovleva have acquainted the future architects with modern means of working out projects on the basis of BIM-modeling which is becoming an integral part of training qualified graduates of building high school.

Lectures were read by invited experts:

· The director for company development «ANIS Olympia» Alexey Gorulev expanded on a topic of a current state of BIM-technologies in the Russian building designing, showed projects executed by the company within the limits of BIM and expressed intention to continue cooperation.

· The general director of the company «Trimetari Consulting» Michael Anikushkin told about possibility of application and prospects of laser 3D-scanning in various areas, having noted interesting details connected with impossibility of erection "Lahta-centre" without this technology. The lecturer recommended to include 3D-scanning to study geodesy, having expressed readiness to give finished shooting materials (a cloud of points) of some objects.

· An employee of the architectural bureau "Eidos" Kirs Jan imparted experience of applying program Revit Autodesk for construction of information models at restoration and in architectural designing, having shown application of BIM-technologies on examples of his own works executed in Russia and abroad.

The chair of applied mathematics and computer science SPSUACE thanks the invited experts, and also a student of the architectural faculty Vsevolod Chugreev (group 3-A-4) for the rendered organizational help.
