Representatives of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering at the Conference of Engineering Education Association of Russia
On July 11-13, 2016 at Irkutsk national research technical university there took place the conference “Interdisciplinarity in engineering education: global trends and management concepts – SINERGY”.
The conference was organized by Engineering Education Association of Russia and the International union of engineering pedagogics, International federation of engineering education communities, European union of engineering education.
At the conference there participated representatives of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering – members of the regional department of Engineering Education Association of Russia Malyutina Marina V. and head of the chair of water usage and ecology Kudryavtsev Anatoly V.
At the conference there was shared positive experience of cooperation in projects of engineering higher education institutions, companies and business community. There was emphasized the importance and contemporary character of preparing professors to training of students basing on the interdisciplinary approach, creation of infrastructure and mechanisms of interdisciplinary project work management.
Particular attention was paid to conditions of synergic effect support while developing world interdisciplinary projects. Expert society of the conference defined obstacles and objective difficulties connected with fulfillment of interdisciplinary projects and proposed recommendations for development of interdisciplinary team work at engineering higher education institutions of Russia.
