Thermo-panel for heat insulated roofs

Utility model of head of the chair of engineering production A.F. Yudina (D.Sc. in engineering, professor) and post-graduate student of the chair of engineering production N.V. Rozantseva “Thermo-panel” for heat-insulated roofs was registered at the Federal service for intellectual property. There was issued utility model patent of the Russian Federation № 162548, exclusive rights of which belong to Federal state budgetary education institution of higher professional education “Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering”.

The utility model refers to engineering, in particular to building constructions and can be used for heat-insulated roofs. Thermo-panel for heat-insulated roofs consists of a shaped urethane-foam panel with insertion holes along side cross panels, reinforcing coating and a framework made of plywood or basalt fiber. The given panel is made so that it can be connected with the adjacent urethane-foam panels by side cross tiers of type “mortise and tenon” or “off-center”. Reinforcing coating is made of glass-cloth and rigidly connected with ribbed shape for forming ventilation canals. The framework is made as a space net of crossing longitudinal ribs and cross link beams, installed at equal spaces. Quantity of elements in this net depends on the length and width of urethane-foam panel, which is made as a monolithic panel. The framework is located inside the panel. The thermo-panel can have a stone wool layer, which is installed between the reinforcing coating and the urethane-foam panel. Thermo-panel for heat-insulated roofs increases quality of the produced roof by increasing imperviousness of the roof cover and by increasing bearing capacity of the construction. Moreover, this material increases energy efficiency of the roof made of it.

Congratulations to authors of the utility model!
