“Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten” – a rally marking the Day of Victory

On May 6, 2016 automobile sport division of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering organized a rally, marking the Day of Victory. The event was held under the supervision of the faculty of automobile and road building, chair of physical training, student council and the professional committee of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

Early morning five groups of cars started in front of the main entrance to the university, arrived at Kirovsk in Leningrad region and back along the left side of the Neva River. In Kirovsk participants of the auto rally visited the museum “Leningrad blockade running” and put flowers to the monument “Frontier stone”.

As said coach of the automobile sport division of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering V.V. Serbin this tradition of May rallies had existed in Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering for ages. For young people this is a good chance to get closer to the native history, express their deep respect to military heroism of the ancestors. The rally destined to places of battle glory made a great impression on the participants.
