Schoolchildren and students of secondary professional education institutions once again became students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering for one day

In November, 2015 Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering several times housed guests – school children and students of secondary professional education institutions within the program of professional orientation “Be a students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering”. The university was visited by schoolchildren of several schools of Saint Petersburg, school of Kronstadt and college of Gatchina.

Accompanied by curators – students of the university – guests attended lectures and practical classes held by professors of various chairs. During the classes they learned about some subjects trained in Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering during the first course studies such as programming fundamentals, building materials, architectural and engineering constructions, building physics and climate science; learned about the peculiarities of studying at higher education institutions. During the breaks the guests had excursions about the university and learned about the material and technical base of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

After classes representatives of the Admission Committee answered the questions of potential students, granted them participants’ certificates of the programme “Be a student of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering for one day”, and wished them successful examinations. Participants in their turn thanked students who accompanied them all day long for the opportunity to penetrate into the student life.
