SAFECON project is a collaboration of Russia, Finland and European Union based at SPbGASU. Except SPbGASU, Pushkin Leningrad State University, Saimaa University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences participate in the project. The parties are planning to build Safety Park in Krasnoe Selo and to train there builders with risky qualifications. The main emphasis of the training is on visual imagery which makes the project methodology innovative. The visitors would see both the consequences of improper activity at production site and the ideal variant. Several parks of similar kind already function in Finland where every worker must attend occupational safety classes. It appeared that they are extremely effective because workplace injuries rate there is reducing to zero.

The Russian partners complement the Finnish experience and develop the programmes for training Safety Park tutors.
