A co-operation agreement in the field of education and science was signed by the Rector of Sevastopol State University, Vladimir Nechaev, and the Head of the Administration of the Krasnogvardeysky Region of the Republic of Crimea, Vasily Grabovan.There are more than 84000 inhabitants and 70 agricultural enterprises of different forms in the Krasnogvardeysky region. The region has a need for specialists in the agrarian and processing complex, gardeners and wine-growers, food production technologists, teachers, power engineering specialists and highly qualified specialists in the automotive industry and IT technologies. “We see our task to be as useful as possible to Sevastopol and Crimea on a regional basis and are interested in students coming to us and remaining here to work,” noted Vladimir Nechaev.Every year, more than 450 eleventh-graders graduate from 30 schools in the Krasnogvardeysky region and students who have completed 9 classes continue their studies at colleges. The parties identified various vectors of co-operation: the admission of applicants, including under targeted contracts, Sevastopol State University's interaction with district colleges within the consortium of educational organizations, the organization of meetings with district employers and job fairs.“In the case of long-term relationships, if there are applicants and jobs, we are ready to discuss new educational programs and fields of study that are relevant to Crimea,” said Vladimir Nechaev.
