Rolf Dieter Pfortner Received SPbGASU Honorary Doctorate Degree

On February 28, 2019, Rolf Dieter Pfortner (Germany) received an Honorary Doctorate degree at Academic Council meeting at SPbGASU.


Stanislav Grushetsky, Dean of the Faculty of Automobile and Road-Building, introduced Mr Pfortner to the Council: ‘Rolf Dieter Pfortner is President of Chemnitz Industrial and Commercial Chamber, Vogtland Ambassador, Member of the AOK Plus management team (leading insurance company in Saxony and Thuringia), Member of Saxony Policy Cooperation Health Care Council.’

Rolf Dieter Pfortner has occupied important positions in air conditioning, refrigeration engineering, automobile and surgical facilities companies. He was Behr Mylau Chief Commercial Officer and later organized its restructuring together with Magnetto (Italy), world-known body part producer. Mister Pfortner was a member of Board of Directors and Presidium at Metal-Working and Electrical Industry Saxony Entrepreneur Association. He has awards for his professional and scientific activities.
