Visit of SPbGASU Students to CESLA Cement Plant

In December 2018, SPbGASU Students from the Department of Technology of Construction Materials and Metrology visited Slantsev cement plant CESLA which is supervised and owned by HeidelbergCement (Germany). It is one of the largest plants in Leningrad Oblast and one of the main suppliers for Saint Petersburg construction industry.

The students saw every stage of Portland cement production and paid attention to multilevel quality control. They were impressed by a plant laboratory equipped with modern testing facilities.
