Results of BIM Championship Preliminaries

On December 17 2017, BIM championship preliminaries finished in SPbGASU which started on December 14. The winning teams were awarded with prizes from representatives of relevant companies and others were given certificates of participation.

Irina R. Lugovskaya, First Vice Rector, Svetlana G. Golovina, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and Aleksandr G. Chernykh, Head of Project Office ‘Smart City’ and Head of the Department of Metal and Timber Constructions presented the awards.

Irina R. Lugovskaya: ‘We congratulate you with successful contribution to your future. We would like to thank our sponsors, experts and rector Evgeny I. Rybnov, who patronizes BIM activity in our university’.

Fedor V. Perov, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture: ‘The students worked with their heart and soul. The knowledge they have got would definitely be useful for them’.

The winners were:

• 1^st place – Jim Bim,
• 2^nd place – DreamTeam,
• 3^rd place – I-Balka.

The jury selected the winners in the following categories:

• The Best Architect – Nikita Gorovoy,
• The Best Constructor – Viktor Tsyganovkin,
• The Best Heating and Ventilation Engineer – Kristina Klubnikina,
• The Best Water and Sanitation Engineer – Maksim Sankov,
• The Best BIM Estimator – S. Tsyganok.
• Bimeco, Pro Bim and Nepokolebimy were given certificates of participation.
