Training and familiarization practice of Bachelors of Henan University of Urban Construction in SPSUACE

From July 20 to August 3, 2018, Bachelors of Henan University of Urban Construction (Pingdingshan, China) had a training and familiarization practice "Aspects of Modern Construction" in SPSUACE.

Practitioners studied various aspects of the construction and operation of buildings and engineering systems. The program included open lectures, practical classes, visits to construction sites, acquaintance with the cultural heritage of Saint-Petersburg, communication with Russian teachers and students informally.

Bachelors from China visited the inter-departmental laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the laboratory of the building materials and Department of Metrology, the production of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures of the LSR-Stenovye Plant in Nikolskoye, the unique Zenit Arena construction site, the flood protection complex of St. Petersburg and the State Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal", the Russian Railway Museum and Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signals. Also, foreign guests watched the parade in the water area of the Neva River in honor of the Day of the Navy of the Russian Federation.

At the final meeting, foreign Bachelors thanked the host for an interesting and useful practice. The Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Saint-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering A.N. Panin wished them success with future professional career. The Head of the Department for International Education and Cooperation of SPSUACE, V.A. Artemyeva, gave the certificates to the trainees and also wished all the best.
