Familiarization practice of students of SPSUACE in the largest Saint-Petersburg companies

Students of the Faculty of Environmental Ecology and Municipal Services of SPSUACE of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation had familiarization practice in St. Petersburg companies. This practice allows students to study the structure of enterprises and basic technological processes, get acquainted with the future profession and prepare for the study of special subjects.

Students visited organizations that manufacture ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems, and also provide St. Petersburg with heat and gas.

The first company that welcomed students was “ARKTOS”, LLC. This is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems. The company consists of two plants located in Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as a research laboratory for aerodynamics and acoustics. The equipment of this company was used in the construction of many buildings and structures: SC Jubileyny, Vostochny spaceport, Fisht Olympic Stadium, Moscow City, residential complexes located in Saint-Petersburg.

The next company that our students visited was Primorskaya boiler-house of GUP “TEK SPb”, which is the largest source of heat in the north-western part of Saint-Petersburg. State Unitary Enterprise "TEK SPb" is the largest producer and supplier of thermal energy in the North-West of Russia.

The last organization hosted students of SPSUACE warmly, was the company "PetersburgGaz". It is engaged in comprehensive development of gas supply systems and uninterrupted, sustainable provision of natural gas to residents of Saint-Petersburg.

The students of SPSUACE got convinced that the profession they would receive was in demand. They got an idea about their future work and career prospects. After the completion of the practice, students will prepare detailed reports and presentations for each of the enterprises.
