Student life in SPSUACE: April – June 2018.

In April 2018 in Saint-Petersburg there was a selection stage of the festival of student creativity "Russian Student Spring-2018", where students from SPSUACE took part. The selection was intense. During the shortest period it was required to prepare high-level performances, but the students of SPSUACE brilliantly coped with the task. The victory got the vocal ensemble and the dance collective "Made'IRA". These collectives got the right to participate in the final of the festival, which was taking place from May 15 to May 20, 2018 in Stavropol.

On May 10 and 16, 2018 the group of the creative workshop "The Attic of Hofnarra" performed the play "Our House" to children. Due to the scenic interaction of actors of different generations, the performance turned out to be bright and colorful. Despite the serious theme, the performance gave pleasant and joyful impressions.

On May 19 and 20, 2018 the quarter-finals of the Open League of the KVN "POINT" were held. The teams "Outside the House", "Paper Department" and "Women's Team Bridget Jones" performed from SPSUACE. The competition was extremely tense, but the girls from “Bridget Jones” managed to pass to the semifinals. On May 23, 2018, the creative workshop "The Attic of Hofnarra" gave a class on acting. The actors showed various exercises for training speech, diluting them with jokes and helping to reveal to all participants. Acting is useful not only for those who want to become a professional actor in the future, but also for people who want to learn how to control emotions, be sociable and successful in life.

On May 25, 2018 the Center for Students Leisure and Creativity "Brick" gave a performance of theatrical studio of SPSUACE. The event was devoted to the Great Patriotic War. The actors of the studio showed the burdens of military life, the heroism of ordinary people who shared their last crumbs with their comrades and overcame adversity. The play made a great impression on the audience.

On June 5, 2018 the quarter-final of the Regional Nevsky League of the International Union of KVN took place. The girls from the Women's Team “Bridget Jones” competed with the teams from Moscow, Samara, Pskov and the Leningrad region. Loud laughter and satisfied smiles on the faces of the audience and the jury, as well as excellent ratings, allowed "Bridget Jones" to add another victory to the treasury of their achievements.
