A commemoration event to the 75 anniversary of breaking the Siege of Leningrad

On 18th January, 2018, in the day of the 75 anniversary of breaking the Siege of Leningrad, a commemoration event took place in SPSUACE. Participants of the action laid out a figure "75" with the lighted candles at the Memorial to the students, teachers, employees of the University who died in the Great Patriotic War.

Breaking the Siege of Leningrad - one of major events during the Great Patriotic War. In spite of the fact that the city still remained besieged, the situation changed completely. This special day Petersburgers pay a tribute of memory to heroes, who defended native boundaries by improbable efforts.
