First-year students of SPSUACE are accepted in the students’ community with all the honors and celebrations

On 17th September, 2016 «Festival of the first-year student» - a grandiose holiday for those who this year has joined the numbers of students of SPSUACE was held in a club "Barbados". Organizers of the action – Management department of social and non-learning work with students, Center of student's leisure and creativity "Brick", Student council of SPSUACE have presented to children such a holiday which has exceeded all their expectations. For the first time in the history of Day of the first-year student of university there simultaneously worked five grounds where everyone could enjoy himself: to participate in master classes, to sing, draw, dance, take part in quests, participate in competitions or simply be a spectator. On the main arena there performed dancing, vocal and theatrical collectives of creative studios of the Center of student's leisure and creativity " Brick", which many times have represented the university at every possible city and regional competitions. On the small arena students were invited to take part in various master classes. Also there performed teams of KVN and student's rock groups which presented to listeners an excellent live sound. The third ground was for first- year students art lessons. Here they made cartoons and sketches, drew by henna and spray paints, and even transformed students into young foxes, drawing on their faces an amusing red masks – since all of them have become now the students of SPSUACE - LICI!

For fans of active pastime there were organized quests with an obstacle course and competitions on dexterity, speed, ingenuity. And to capture all bright emotions of this holiday there worked a photo-box which gave out meters of photographic paper with joyful faces of children who will remember this holiday for ever .

To congratulate the first-year students on the beginning of their first year of study representatives of administration of SPSUACE came: the pro-rector on external relations and the youth policy Irina Yurjevna Lapina, the acting dean of the faculty of engineering ecology and municipal economy Ivanov Dmitry Valerjevich, vice- deans on educational work of the faculty of engineering ecology and municipal economy Julia Vladimirovna Romanova, of auto-road faculty Tatyana Anatoljevna Meshechko and of the faculty of economy and management Olga Petrovna Brisker.

Ritual of dedication of first-year students in students of SPSUACE when they needed to pass through an arch decorated with tapes and air balloons, and suddenly to take up a portion of paints became the culmination of the party.

“We are very glad that this festival has allowed for one evening, but on different grounds, to present all our studios”, told the director of the Center of student's leisure and creativity "Brick", Irina Deeva, “children could get acquainted, test themselves in various creative directions and already now, probably, to make a choice, what they would like to be involved. I’d like to notice that this year we get very active first-year students who were interested in all grounds, everywhere participated. Also many participants of the quests receiving for a victory the coupon on hot tea and a roll so desperately and persistently battled for a prize, starting their try for several times. I have not expected such liking to such a simple award. I want to tell thanks to all children helping us in the organization of this party! It was difficult, but it’s very interesting, as well! Today each studio has presented its direction, and now you, our dear first-year students, can choose the most interesting for you. If something seems to you very difficult, do not worry - you can learn everything! The main thing for you- just desire! Come to "Brick"! We are waiting for you!»

«It is just an unreal party! -new students of SPSUACE Olga and Anastasia shared their impressions. - we have friends from other high schools, but nowhere such holidays for first-year students have been arranged». Many times in the evening here and there the students expressed their positive responses about the holiday and among our children there were also seen representatives of other universities of our city. Well, it proves again that «Festival of the first-year student» was a success!
