SPbGASU students can handle any tasks

From May 20 to May 22, 2019, the final stage of the International Student Competition in the Construction/Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation specialization for undergraduate students took place in Belgorod.

The SPbGASU team was the third in team competitions. The fourth-grade student Maria Rostova got the third place in the category of “Solving Engineering Problems”.

“The tasks were divided into several topics: ventilation and air conditioning, heating and thermal physics, building physics, production and organization of work. Of course, we are familiar with these topics. However, we would not expect the tasks to be so intricate,” said Maria Rostova.

“The tasks were not easy, but solvable. We are taught well enough at SPbGASU to be able to solve such ones. I also noticed that every university has its own approach to teaching. As a whole, the organization was quite good. We were deliciously fed; the organizers gave us nice gifts. The hospitality the Belgorod State Technical University was quite enjoyable!” Victoria Bardadym, a fourth-grade student shared her impressions.

The third participant of the prizewinner team was a fourth-grade student Elizaveta Sayfullina. She was the third in the nomination of "Solving engineering problems in ventilation and air conditioning."

The tutor of the team was associate professor from the SPbGASU Department of Heat, Gas Supply and Ventilation Viktor A. Yakovlev.
