Sharing Experience with Poland and Finland
Sharing Experience with Poland and Finland
On May 16, 2019, architect and lecturer Andrzej Dudzinski from partner Bialystok Technical University (Poland) read a lecture at SPbGASU.
Andrzej Dudzinski came to SPbGASU under the Erasmus+ academic exchange programme
Andrzej Dudzinski: ‘I was happy to read a lecture to SPbGASU students. We talked a lot about Poland, Bialystok and the faculty of Architecture in technical universities. I have also told about my research subject which is schools in densely populated cities. One of such cities is New York where I have worked for a couple of years and happened to read lectures to Russian students. It was so charming that they have always listened to me very carefully. I think it’s amazing to travel around the world and share experience; I hope academic exchange programme between Bialystok Technical University and SPbGASU will be still going and Polish students may visit Saint Petersburg. I invite Russian students and lecturers to visit Bialystok and join the programme’.
It was the second time Finnish partners came to the lecture. They were curious to learn first-hand about ambitious projects in Saint Petersburg.
SPbGASU academic staff have made personal commitment to design and construction of numerous significant cites. Vladimir Konushkov showed them and told about pre-project survey and other relatable things
After the lecture the guests had an excursion around SPbGASU and Saint Petersburg where they saw the mentioned projects – Lakhta Centre, Gazprom Arena and other.
