SPSUACE student council won II place in All-Russia competition of student's self-management «Leader of XXI-st century»

On 11th February, 2018 in Rostov-on-Don the All-Russia competition on the best organization of student's self-management activity was summed up. The SPSUACE student council headed by the chairman Vadim Klyovan won II place in a nomination « Best organization of activity of student’s councils ». The Council of foreign students of SPSUACE under the direction of Roman Artykov became the finalist in a nomination « Best system of work with foreign students and international student cooperation».

The All-Russia competition of student's self-management «Leader of the XXI-st century» has been held annually since 2000 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian union of youth.

600 applicants took part in a correspondence stage of the competition, and only 96 projects could reach the final. More than 200 persons (organizers, experts and participants from 45 subjects of the Russian Federation) arrived at the final action.

The program «Leader of the XXI-st century» included:

  • Educational blocks, intellectual classes, business games in the basic directions of the work of student's self-management bodies;
  • Competitive tests (presentations, debates, case problems);
  • Exhibitions-presentations of student's self-management activity;
  • Master classes and trainings on development of personal qualities and abilities to work in a team;
  • Round tables and meetings with experts in the field of student's self-management and youth policy, employees of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, representatives of federal and regional public authorities, public figures.

SPSUACE student council has 16 public associations and successful projects, 4 functional departments and 11,5 thousand subscribers in social networks. We congratulate future leaders of the country on the victory!
